but the year after that we will have another bill introduced.

Right now everyone should be supporting their Senators and Representatives to get them re-elected, and of course lobbying our agenda to the same politicians.

We will be hosting a BBQ soon, stay tuned for more info on that, all herpers & law makers will be invited.

In the mean time, anyone with any money left over after lobbying and supporting re-election campaigns, I suggest you buy up all that cheap land in the Trans Pecos. It's a good investment plus the more land owners we represent the more weight our voice carries. Once we own the majority of the Trans Pecos, then we can pretty much write our own ticket.

I'm not fooling, buy up all that cheap land NOW. If you want links to realtors' web sites e-mail me and I'll send a bunch of them.

While I hope for a change in the law, I find it hard to hold my breath. But next session will provide a valuable indicator as to whether all of our efforts this year was the catalyst to victory, or if that was simply the best we could muster.

I second Joe's land grab idea. Even if you aren't into snakes, it's always nice to own a hunk of land some place!
