Question on how to tell the difference betwwen a bull and a gopher or a

intergrade of the two. I got a snake that was sold to me as a bull it is very light compared to other bulls, and it has peach down the body. I am just curious if there are any signs or things to look for to distinguish between the two. Thanks for any help given. Ps i hope its not a mutt, but she is still amazing scott

on this forum many times and that's a good, but difficult question. It's difficult if you are asking for specific failsafe indicators and physical traits that you can use. Bullsnakes and Sonoran gophersnakes exhist in ovelappint areas of New Mexico, Texas, and northern Mexico. Specific locale data will help and in most cases be the idntifying support data to determine if its a bullsnake or gophersnake. The Pituophis Page has a great deal of information and spec sheets on it for our use. The spec sheet for the bullsnake has not been added yet. This will require more of everything that it takes to put together and write a spec sheet. It's on the way, but it will take some time.
