What is the length of time a baby ball takes from exiting the egg to first feeding????

Normally, not til they shed (10-14days)! After that, some take a meal right away, some are a little trickier!

I have been having great luck with them feeding if I give them a hide and feed them a hopper mouse after their first shed. Some took rat pups right away but they don't seem to move enough to get them to start on the rat pups but after they eat their 3rd or 4th hopper most all of my babies are banging rat pups.
