A couple pip's

DMong Aug 24, 2009 05:24 PM

Still waiting on a bunch of the really "kick-a$$" things to hatch, but here are a couple dbl. het snows that came out today.
Another thing I was happy to see was this second egg for whatever reason was really hard and lumped-up and moldy on one end from very early on,..and I'm glad I didn't mess with it, and just let it continue to incubate..... "when in doubt, let it sprout"..LOL!

here's the neonate from the first egg pic fully emerged.

Hey Doug,

Sorry a missed you at the show but I was just up on Saturday and it was hectic to achieve. Nice to see some youngsters... looking forward to the stellar stuff!

Yeah, Chris!

That would have been really cool to have met up there, but as you mentioned, it's basically impossible to see everyone you want to there in that huge sea of people..LOL!

Yeah, Dave,...the egg felt good, and continued to smelled good even in the latter stages of development, so I had a strong feeling it was still viable. Very glad I let it continue on!..LOL!

Doug:

I had one of those moldy-on-one-end eggs hatch this year. When those hatch it always makes me question the eggs I tossed in previous years. Nice pics of the hatchlings!

So what's the really cool stuff you are waiting on hatching?

Rob

DMong Aug 25, 2009 12:57 PM

I hear ya' Rob!

the ones I suspected were indeed bad as time continued, were totally void of any signs of life, and were definitely infertile from day one. Nothing but pure stale yolk.

BTW,..those are great looking amels you posted!

I'll have albino's, extreme hypo's, ghosts, extremes/het ghost(from extreme grand sire), snow hets, super yellow floridana, and several other cool things as well.

take care, ~Doug
