Hello all,
I have a reptile show coming up in my area and am beginning to plot my attack, of course the follow up issue is how to house what I pick up there.
I'm thinking small rack but I'm in the middle of moving so I don't know if I have time to order one to my new place and am also a little hesitant about choosing a rack sight unseen.
I have a few adjustable shelf bookcases of the prefabricated laminate type, does anyone have experience using that type of shelving as a rack system? Is it a viable option for smaller hatchlings or am I better off with something custom built?
My other thought was to pick up a rack at the show along with the snakes but I was concerned about making sure the temps are even and correct before I set them up.
I was also wondering what the thinking is on rack heating. Pads, tape, lamps? Under, back, overhead?
Thanks in advance,
Jess
