artificial rock cut

jazmaniandevil Aug 25, 2009 04:11 PM

Hey, I've been trying to decide where in my GBK's tank to put an artificial rock-cut type structure made out of styrofoam. She seems to spend more time on the cool side, but I've read somewhere on these forums that some guy got his snake to use it by attaching heat tape to the side of his tank near the back of the 'cuts'. So there seems to be three options: cool side, warm side or right in the middle. Any thoughts?

Can the cut go across the back and span the entire range of heat?

I ended up doing several levels of hides stretching from the warm side to 3/4 the way across the tank so that she has a range. Thanks for the input though!
