So white snakes are boring???

anthony james mc Aug 25, 2009 04:18 PM

Well not all white snakes are created equal. Tom Baker made this little bad boy and he's turning out to be quite the looker! If you look close at the top of his head you can still make out that imagine of a human face , looks like Jesus to me, call me crazy but the design does remind me of a faint image of the messiah kinda like looking at the pictures you see of him in many churches but viewed from a distance away. He looks incredible in person and is a great snake that seems to enjoy being held and out of his cage too. His genetic potential is pretty respectable too for that matter!

Anyway thought somebody might think the pic of just another white snake is pretty cool.

Haha, you have to contact a News organization with that one. When the world's most famous zombie shows up on toast and jelly jars and such, we have to read about it for 2 or 3 days. Would be a nice change of pace to see it on a snake. Much needed good publicity too...get people believing snakes are "devine". Worth a shot, I say.

If you see Fidel, please push him into oncoming traffic. I need some cigars from 90 miles south of Florida and I am tired if paying contraband prices.

I love boring white snakes, and that one is a real looker. I do kinda see the face on his head. I think that face is telling you to buy a zoom lense so we can get close ups of all these awesome snakes

Dude looks GREAT. Is he going to sire any clutches this year Anthony? If I remember correctly, he was one of those younger "tweener" males that may/may not dig the girls so much during his first season. I have more than a few tweeners. My Special male ... and Butter Belly only just started breeding in the last few weeks -- both are just under 12 months old. He looks more than ready for the upcoming season!!! Good luck with him.

Got a small clutch incubating from him now to a Mojave, they are 38 days in , one egg I can make out a pattern on already (likely a Special) the other 2 I cannot, so maybe he'll partly pay for himself afterall this season with a little luck. Under 3 weeks till I know I guess.

Bill , also he did seem to be a little shy around some of the girls , he really most prefered that one female Mojave that laid. She laid as many slugs as good eggs however so I think that's what happens with young males sometimes, he was only about 9 months old when she was around her ovulation point . The Super Crystal was a little small for his age when I got him so I actually am pleased to see him sire anything this year. Like you said he'll be in prime shape this upcoming season and with a little breeding experience from this year he should be able to cover the girls better now.

Did you make any more of those Caramel Mojaves Bill? Those are really wicked looking , I could use one for a few projects!

on 9-5(day 60) from another PH Glow female and 3 eggs from a Het 30 days in.

A third PH Glow will lay any day -- looks to be holding 5-6 good ones. Still have 2 larger Hets that have yet to ovulate.

Needless to say, I hope to make a couple more this year. I am also REALLY excited about hatching more Mojave 66% girls -- love to have those on the shelf!!

What do you mean by "glow" are you reffering to a carmel glow? Or is that what your calling the carmel mojaves (which are SICK by the way) thanks for the help.

Sorry Brian. I should have been more detailed. The dam of my first clutch -- and 2 other girls in the project are 100% Het Caramel and UNPROVEN 50% Het Hypo. I will be pairing my Caramel Mojave with a Hypo or 2 -- he "might" prove to be Het Hypo. The Glow referenced was the Carmel Glow -- a Het Hypo/Het Caramel = Het for Glow.

Could you post caramel mojave pics, please? I searched forum but couldn't find any pics.

Thanks,
