This is the second time i have produced babies like this from a nice looking female.I need to grow them up and breed them back to see if there is a super.

Cool looking. Do you have any pics of mom?

Here is a pic on her eggs this year.

Belly shots?

ChrisJonesUK Aug 27, 2009 04:41 AM

i dont have belly shots but they are pretty normal bellies except for the brighter one at the bottom of the pic which i think could be a yb cross as i bred the mother to my yb last year. They do resemble the mystics but need to produce a super to be sure.

Wow, I love 'em. They do look like they are hets for a white snake.

Only more breeding will tell. The bright looking one is stunning in the flesh.

nice, I certainly would pursue that one... it does seem to be reproducing itself, so you could be on to something. Nothing of value probably if there is no super though... good luck!

Bristen.

Thanks.Luv your pastel cross on your site, i have been working on a cross of my own for a few years now.Take a look at this pic.

Thanks for the kind words on my pastel cross. That particular project is not going very well this year... tried for a super by line breeding, but didn't hit anything interesting other than a clutch of normal looking babies. The Pastel cross is a female that is a poor eater and was not breedable yet.. perhaps one day I'll get to the bottom of that one, but there's lots of work before I get there...

As for your cross, I love the pattern and the insane blushing on it! Best of luck to you on that one - dinking is fun, but you'll get more disappointments than big hits - at least that's how it's been here so far...

Good luck!
Bristen.
