This guy hatched out in a clutch of six from an Orange Ghost male X a big normal? female. I've got quite a few Balls but am by no means an expert, I have never seen one like this nor have a few freinds I have asked; any ideas?

It is called a classic Jungle. They are awesome looking mutations but unfortunately a random occurance and so far no one has been able to reproduce them other than randomly.

Yup. I think some folks call em' Jaguars. Some people think it occurs from eggs stress while incubating. Was this clutch exposed to temp fluctuations or spike? I love them, but I agree with post above, that they havent been found to be genetic,
Too bad it does not breed true; it would sure look good mixed with some other mutations.
Temps were very stable for this clutch so that theory is out. I would guess a multiple gene thing; my patternless Nelson’s milks are a multiple gene mutation, the line produces them but it is not clear-cut as far as recessive or co-dom, they just show up in a clutch here and there.
Thanks again
