I have a juvie female carpet python and a juvie female dwarf retic python that are the same size (Both about two feet long).

Can I house them together in a 110 gallon rubbermaid? Both are tame. Thanks.

You can do whatever you want but you SHOULD NEVER house those snakes together. Do a little research on what your getting into.

Both those snakes, although are of similar size, have very different natural habits, let alone the possible stress factor that could be an issue. In my opinion, caging two snakes together is NEVER a good idea when it is simple enough to house them separately.

Feeding time too could also lead to big problems, even if fed separately.

The snake's will be MUCH better off if housed separately, and if you can put the carpet python in a somewhat taller cage with a well-secured climbing branch, then that would be even better yet.

since you have 2 beautiful snakes that will both be large, beautiful snakes, why not build a large display cage with a divider? Wood walls, wood divider and wood back. Paint it and seal it with polyurethane. Have a glass front that goes across both. Retic on the left, Carpet on the right, happy all around. It could be the centerpiece of the living room.

Just a suggestion.
