NJ stock Kings

RichH Aug 28, 2009 10:18 AM

Been a very long time since I kept Burlington Co. stock kings. Outstansding snakes. I've always been interested in this area as it was the Pines from this area that started my interest in keeping herps 40 years ago.

These kings were #2 in my collection back then. They were impressive snakes. It's been a very long time since I have been back to NJ to hit parks and hike. Of course now they are as I believe "hands off" as are most herps that interests me these days. That is of course if you are lucky to come across one. Anyway, curious if anyone had/has the same interest and kept up with such stock? Pics?

I have a pair of Burlington x Monmouth Cty, NJ Easterns that were obtained from Keith Hillson. The pair produced five eggs this year. The clutch should hatch in about two weeks. Excited to see what the babies look like.
I am also waiting on a pair of Burlington Cty, NJ Easterns from Will Still. He has some very nice adults.
