Surrender Dorothy!
plain ol hypos my @$$! Dude, the only floridana I have in the collection are a w.c. and a hypo, both from Mark, funny he should respond! You can't beat floridana for variance, nowdays, but for me, a nice hypo wins hands down. Those are gonna be nice, post 'em when they shed, in the meantime, get some thayeri and alterna, turn the mexicana corner, lol!

Todd...
Tom already had some Thayeri...They did not make it through the A/C incident 3.5 years ago.....
Tom...
I've had alterna eat before their first shed and some never would eat anything except for scelophorus (sp?)....
But then again....I've had Splendida and Holbrooki hold out on me just as long....LOL
The only thing that I think doesn't match your methods is brumation for Alterna.....I believe it is still needed for montane species.....not like getula at all....

Well, he needs some more, and some alterna to boot! What gives, you get some hogs but won't commit to the true beauty of mexicana? I will send you a pair of thayeri, if you will have them, already a year old and waiting for someone to feed them like only you do! But yes, getting them down to brumation temps is key, I failed this year and slugged out. You have had harder challenges than getting a baby snake to eat, woma breeding comes to mind...

Sold em all as I just did not do well with them. I wanted more colubrids so I went with Hogs. I like Asian Rats too but the cool temp thing scares me. Not sure what's next?
