ALBINO or SUNGLOW? What is your take?

Marko1 Aug 29, 2009 09:00 PM

Had my first litter this year and held back most sunglows and albinos. Just curious because I did have my female with a DH sunglow and an Albino. She def. proved to be a Het, that for sure. Just not sure if this female is a Sunglow or an Albino . What do you guys think? Thanks

The bowtie-shaped saddles say salmon to me. With albino, that makes the snake a sunglow.

So these two would be Hypo 66% Hets. Correct? Het Albino?

Naren Aug 30, 2009 12:01 AM

I think, that they have albinism both. But it is correct to sell as 66 % het albino

Want to breed them not sell them. This is a hobby for me. Just love these boas! lol. Most likely I agree they do, guess I'll have to prove it out! Thanks

KAHL. So I guess I majority rules. SUNLOW. I still wanted some more insight on the breedings. Both males had done the job then? Albino and DH Sunglow? Just a question. Thanks

i just read through quick so i migh of missed something and i might be speaking out of turn, but did you mention what the Dam was genitically, and also i understood from that last post that you had her in mating with two diff males? one an albino and one a db het sunglow. or where those two different pairings from two different years?

Yes you did read correct Stephen. I had a Het Albino female with two males . First being a DH Sunglow and Second being a Kahl Albino. My question was, Could they both have tagged her? Could she have made sunglows, albinos, hypo/ hets, and normal Poss Hets from both males sperm or most likely the DH sunglow male did the job? I had 48 babies total. What do you think? Thanks.
