I'm in Delaware. Moved to Pike Creek a little over 2 years ago (suburb of Wilmington). I have absolutely no idea of any herping sites though. There don't seem to be any at all in my area, too populated. I would think the best places would be in the Central and Southern parts of the state.
Thanks for the reply, I'm in Dover. I'm somewhat new to the area as well. I am interested in doing some herping, but really have no idea where to start. Maybe someone else will chime in.
Maybe, but I wouldn't count on it...most people don't even know Delaware is a state, haha. I'd say just look around your area for any places that are off the beaten path that look like a snake would like to live there.
Yeah, I've found a few black rats and a couple of northern water snakes, I'd love to see a hognose, or a milk/king. Maybe I'll head back out this weekend.
