Glad you liked the pics, Jimmy!

Yes, they do seem to be in every state of emerging in those pics,....some out, some almost out, some sticking their heads out, and some still not quite pipped..LOL!

Still waiting on another corn clutch of thirty-three to hatch anytime now, as well as many other types of Lampropeltis too.

We all just LIVE for this time of year, huh?..LOL!

That's turning into a really nice batch of babies.

DMong Aug 30, 2009 09:29 PM

Thanks!,.......I know they aren't exactly super-freaky, latest and greatest stuff, but later on when back-bred to the sire and such, they will certainly produce some real SMOKERS!..LOL!

thanks again, ~Doug

All of that stuff doesn't matter. The babies look good and you did well with the incubation.

If you can produce a clutch of Normals and be happy and satisfied with them, then you have just reached the pinnacle of reptile breeding.

Yeah,...I fully agree!,I guess that's why I've owned many countless types for 42 years now!, they are truly a way of life..LOL!

You have some really sweet corn projects goin'!

Thanks man. Things have been going pretty well but there have been some downs this season too.

I'm super impressed with pretty much all of the projects that the people on this forum have going on! There's a lot of wicked cool stuff going on over here! A lot of people here have been giving me some new goals to aim for.

I have learned through the yrs that trying to keep up with the Jones's just don't work...You have to do things the way that works 4 you....I myself tend to try to come up with my own line of morphs, yes this does take longer but 4 me it is more gratifying...By doing so I have been able to refine some of the genetics and come up with some awesome Butters, Silver Queens, Caramels,Ambers, Fires...Right now I am working on Okeetee's, Silver Queen Stripes,Hypo Opal Motleys, and Anery Miami's......But we all have to find what works 4 us that's what makes it so interesting 4 each and every one of us, we all have our own diffrent view of what will look good, what will work and the some of us just get plain LUCKY....lol...

I guess the best part 4 me is seeing alot of these younger people getting involved in this wonderful hobby, seeing there enthusiasm and desire make all these yrs of trial and error worth every moment...
