SO I have moved out 2.4 adults and 12 baby thayeri for so new species like Iran Jayas, Amel Ruthveni, Rosey boas....

So you guys dont be giving me a hard time if I produce awesome thayeri in the next few years because I would never breed them with Ruthveni

I have an awesome pair of F4 Tapalpa Ruthveni coming from Shannon Brown.....
With some aberrant patterns to boot....
And.....I guess I should throw this in here too.....
I would never cross them into thayeri either.....

I wonder if we can make this a CYA thread.....LOL

I was all set to get some of Shannon's aberant ruthveni a few years back. I changed my mind and didnt get them for exactly that reason. Since I will be doing some things with aberrant thayeri, I didnt want anyone to be able to imply I may have used the ruthveni to get my results. I now keep only thayeri, 1.2 Japanese Ratsnakes, and a pair of butter corns for my daughter. Kinda sucks as I would like to have gotten those.

Ok Chris but we will at least be suspect when we see a thayeri that is 6 feet long (Jaya X Thayeri).

People will think what they want when they know you have other snakes that have been linked to thayeri crosses. Do what makes you happy.

Definitely! I have sooo many other kinds of snakes that I want to put some Pituophis in my thayeri, you know, to give them a little more personality! LOL! I also have many other snakes and wouldn't breed them into my thayeri...DOH!

I too, as of today, have ruthveni and will never cross them with my mex mex, greeri or thayeri, but I am working on a method to introduce some Felis catus.... cage cleaning would be so much easier.

I have some animals that use the water dish very regularly like a cat box, maybe a line breeding project is in order?
