If you roll down to 8/20 there is a post on Enchi crosses that includes pics of a LesserxEnchi that is pretty amazing.

I really liked that one too but, someone told me that Kevin wasn't letting any of the missing gene Womas go. He is only selling poss. ones that are not really hidden gene Womas in the first place. I think that snake is almost worthy of dieing for if you could get the genetic make up for it. Thanks for the Lesser x Enchi Pics. they are cool.

You're welcome.

I talked with Kevin a few weeks ago and he had a few of the female HG Woma Combos for sale, but he's reluctent to let males go for obvious reasons and I don't blame him. As far as "possible ones" are concerned, I'm not sure what you're referring to, but if it's has anything to do with the erroneous information that is being given out on some of the other forums about it being possible for the "hidden gene" to be passed separately from what some are referring to as the "type 1 phenotype", Kevin assured me that is not possible.

HG womas don't really look all that similar to the other womas out there. I think they are completely different single gene morphs.

cobra93 Aug 30, 2009 10:56 PM

If they don't look alike what do they not have in common? What are their differances? Was the whole poss. H.G. Woma thing a way to smear the EMG name or was it to try to discredit him on the project or was it just another "I think it is so thats what I'll call it thing"?

If you look at a woma, it's very similar to a spider. There's a very noticeable head pattern that is very similar to a spiders. From the pictures of HG womas I've seen, they don't have this same head pattern. They also have more blushing and a more aberrant pattern (think infernos). In fact, I think womas look like a less pronounced spider, while a HG woma looks quite different from either of them.

The story is, from what I've heard, NERD got the womas and then another animal that looked similar (the banding). Kevin called them womas, then started producing the crazy crosses (soulseekers) and started calling them hidden gene womas in order to differentiate between the regular womas and his line of womas.

Why would I be trying to talk smack about Kevin? I'm just trying to spread what little knowledge I have about the morph. It's clear that there is a lot of confusion about the woma/hg womas going around. From everything that I've read, seeing tons of pictures of both morphs, and reading posts from people that own hg womas, I believe they are two entirely different morphs.

You're right. They are two completely different single gene morphs. Once you see a HG Woma by itself (not in a combo) it's obvious that it's different from a regular Woma.

I like Kevin and think what he has made is out of this world. I have bought some snakes from him directly. I also have also bought snakes from OTHER venders (WELL KNOWN some might say pioneers of the hobby) as well and the only thing that would buy from them NOW is a normal that looked a little differant . The Evil Morph God has always been up front and honest to me ( or so I think). I just think that if he had let the H. G. Woma out there even if it was a female it would be OUT THERE. I don't see it anywhere. If he still wants it to be LIMITED he got what he wanted. I don't see it any where other than with him. At some point I hope that I may be one of the lucky ones to get one. Thanks and thank you Kevin for some REALLLLYYYYY COOOOOOOL morphs.
