I came back with the name Christopher Baubel, as far as I can remember they are generic alterna and do not have a locality attached.

Can I request a little help?
On page 41 of your book there is a photo of two alterna together. One dark and one light. I believe I bought this pair from Ric as Lajitas. Two posts down on the forum their locality is being questioned. Do you know anything about these snakes?
Thanks
Adam Sweetman
Adam… I do remember those animals. I spent several days at Ric’s home in 2005 working on a series of images to use in the book. In particular, I worked on a series of images of River Road animals. Ric had several animals labeled as Lajitas animals. I used two of the three for the book (the third was in the blue the whole time I was there). Of course, by the time I was placing the images in the book, those pictures ended up in the “River Road” section. I had sent Ric some proofs and he mentioned they should have been labeled as Lajitas animals. By that time, the book was at the publisher. That mistake (one of several) is one that definitely needs to be corrected in the new edition of the book. Hope this helps…G. Merker

why would one want an all white gray banded kingsnake??????.....this guy here is WAY more interesting
Hope all is well Bob.. I agree, Vader Rules!!
I hatched out these 100% generic babies this past weekend.. I think they are nice looking.

They remind me of some of the speckled black gaps Dan was producing back in day. When you say 100% generic do you mean that neither of the parents are locality specific?
Thanks Andrew,
They do look similar to some of Dan's speckled Gap animals. I was told that there is Gap blood way back in the original stock that these came from.. But, yes, both of the parents of this clutch are generic.

Now I wouldn't mind owning a couple of those myself.I have 37 alterna and none are generic but I would probably make a exception for a couple of those.
Is that from Dan Coffee's line Mike?

Mike was this just luck of the draw or were you expecting something like these? I'd like to see pics of the parents if oyu have them.

Right. And if you wanted a leucistic, why would you care what locality it is?
