Other than taking a page out of George W's "Homeland Security" handbook and suggesting sheet plastic and duct tape to seal the large tanks/enclosures, I haven't got a clue...

Garbage bags don't work very well. You're better off buying cheap plastic drop cloths at home depot.

It really sounds like you need wheels on things, so you can cart 'em out to the garage, and lots of pet carriers for the other animals.

Wish I could be of more help.

it will probably be easier to put all the cages in one room, seal the vents into the room, the window and around the door. Use those winter sealing plastic things, they have a more air tight seal (may not have those in the southern states...but should be able to find them in the colder areas of US and nearly anywhere in Canada).

My upstairs neighbor, I live in a garden apartment set off a flea bomb last week without warning me or anybody else. I guess they figured since our places are totally separated by fire walls it would not get into my place. Well, it did and almost killed one of my brand new babies. The older ones seemed fine, but I got everyone out as soon as I woke up choking and coughing =( at 7 in the morning. Best bet is to go to a store and by temporary plastic bins for the pets, and take them out for the day. Also seal their permanent tanks as well with them not in them. It is lethal to them and took this baby three days of laying flat on it's stomach with it's head spinning before her system cleaned itself out. I'm sure the large ones would have been effected too, it was just that their bodies and systems are so much stronger then a 4 inch babies. That's what I had to do this week just go out and buy supplies for sealing and buying tubs for taking them outside for the day Incase they ever decide to bomb again. Boxes would work too and would be cheaper This time they KNOW too warm me cause I had a fit on them that they almost knocked me out and killed my pets, and I got 10 beardies here. Yes, I was quite pissed. Be careful, best bet is to get them out altogether. If that bomb can go through fire walls I'm sure it can seep into their tanks quite easily.

Ohh, ok sorry thought you were going to do it with them in their sealed cages cause they were hard to move =0 stupid me, must still be those fumes, lol. It was terrible but thank god everything is fine now, and she is as fine as she ever was. Just I really didn't think she was going to make it at all. I was so upset =( Thank god I have family that lives close cause I put them out in bins and ran off to the vet with her. They really could not do anything and recommended putting her down =) well, here she is 10 wax worm treats later, lol Her name is Reaya
