Slight incubation drops in temps, and sometimes those with gold in their eyes will spray paint their snakes and call it a morph!

LOL!!! Tormanto, you crack me up!

As far as 'were all these morphs have come from?', well...Jags have been around since the mid-late 90's and I'm sure several other morph started showing up around then, if not earlier. The biggest reason (in my opinion) why we've seen more morphs of late is because of the selective breeding we've been seeing in the last 20years. I'm not saying they're weren't morphs before now, but neither do I think that keepers have been breeding FOR morphs up until the 80's. The reason we've been seeing more and more of these unique phases is because they are being bred and they are becomming more accessable. Also I think that the morelia community is fairly open and we enjoy showing off our collections. As such we sometimes get 'sneak peaks' at those brand new morphs from time to time.

Shes right, and theres so many morphs in breeders collections and in the wild that we wont know about for another 5 years, and by that time even more people will be breeding carpets meaning that more morphs will be found. Its really never ending, like writing music. You could say all the good music was already written in the 70s (my opinion) but id say theres some good stuff coming up, hopefully. ah who am i kidding!
