Some breeding questions...

SouthernSerpent Aug 31, 2009 08:02 PM

Ok. I have a female hypo that is two and a half years old and close to six feet long with good girth. Would she be able to breed this fall? My male is 100% het albino and will be 18 months in october. He is only about two and a half feet long, but has good girth on him. Is he too small to breed this fall? I really am unsure about the size age representations for breeding readiness in boas. Any help would be really great. Thanks.

I would wait on your female.. its not so much size as it is age. give her at least another year.

Waiting may be the best thing to do, but many bci females have successsfully bred at 2 1/2 yrs. The male is a pure crap shoot, but it wont hurt to try.
