New BP

Kurma Aug 31, 2009 08:23 PM

Hello All,

I just picked up my first BP from a local reptile show. It arrived at their shop as a fresh hatchling in May. so I suspect its 4-5 months old hatched in April. It was sold to be as a female. I weighed her yesterday she's 200 grams. Does that sound like normal weight for her age? Also I have some frozen rat fuzzies and rat pups. She looks to be about equal size girth to the pups yet they look almost too big for her. I was thinking maybe offer her 1-2 rat fuzzies every 4-5 days. How does that sound?

Thanks
kurma

get a book
do some research

feed 7-10 days
food should be equal to or just slightly bigger than biggest part of the snakes body.

Weight sounds typical of a pet-store baby, and we like pictures here lol
