Hi, Tom. I got him from an importer and he said that this is a 75% Lewisi. He said that it came from Florida. But many local shops said that it came from you. LOL. Anyway, I don't know where it truly came from but I really like him a lot.

I was thinking the same thing as Tom, for its age and size, it has great color. I dont think you have to worry about it having enough blue.

I do have some like that but have sold very few. The parents of that, if it's mine, look like PURE LEWISI. That looks EXACTLY like my young ones. Those are only about one year old but these haven't been marketed yet. The parents and grandparents of these were produced by me back in the day and were pure lewisi. It is unknown whether pure bloodlines were maintained over the years but they look like their pure to me and if not their more than 75%. I have another clutch of 09's now that have recently hatched. My yearlings are turning bluer and bluer as they grow larger and older. I've NEVER seen any other than mine that look like that. See how long the snout is for a juvenile. I've produced both pure lewisi and crosses and the one you have and mine here LOOK enough like pure ones that I would have to do a DNA test to know for sure. Anyway that's one NICE Cyclura....

I had mentioned a while back to you all that I have seen pure/smuggled caymans here and and think you would have to be pretty gullable to think it has not happened, and when it does happen the smugglers don't brag they just sell it, I have been to the caymans and held wild caymans enough and I am throughly convinced that the genes of our crosses are a lot more potiant than were told. which suites me just fine. I know virtually everyone that has and breeds Cyclura in Fl and over most of the U.S. and I have NOT seen or even heard of any species of smuggled Cyclura since the early 1990's and they weren't lewisi. To the best of my knowledge the LAST lewisi brought into this country by private folks were the lewisi that Life Fellowship brought in legally in the 1980's. I have worked with this species since the late 1970's and there were NEVER more than about a dozen wc ones here ever. I do understand that some ZOO'S have some imported ones but NO private people that I know of...thanks

To someone who wrote me an e-mail inquiring about this cyclura.
I'm willing to sell if your offer is high enough. I tried to replied your e-mail but it never went through. So you can shoot me the price to my e-mail along with your e-mail that I can reach.
