INTERESTING YEARLING CYCLURA

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Sep 02, 2009 10:29 AM

Here are a few pics of the interesting lewisi crosses I have. These for all practical purposes look like the real deal. In a below post I give more info about them but just wanted comments from some folks that are familiar as I am with pure lewisi..Thanks for looking...

Wow, I haven't seen baby cyclura as blue as yours without them being pure Lewisi. I've owned a Lewisi cross for a couple of years now, and was told that he was %75 Lewisi. I've been having second thoughts about this for a while, but now I'm sure he must be less than %50. The nubila is very dominant as you can see, yet I still love him. (one pic of him at 1 year old, second just takin a couple days ago). The longer snouts, lighter stripes, and that blue hue at such a young age tells me yours must be close to pure, are they mixed with nubila or caymensis? You have some real gems there.

Tom,

They do look pure but it's impossible to tell, especially when they're this young. It's been over 12 years since I worked with pure Lewisi. I'm going to try to find some hatchling pictures.

Where are these guys from? Any pics of the parents?
