I am located in Bonduel Wi, I have asked for them to change their ordiance from 2 ft max to 6 ft; however, the following is a letter from the village attorney.

The board has made it cleared that they don't care about what I want as a pet but they are thinking what is best for the village, even if that means writing laws based on fears and phobias.

My next step, I have brought in proof to show these are not dangerous, I have brought in proof that the villages of the surrounding areas do not even agree that this is fair, I have also brought forth the fact that in any pet store you can buy these aniamalsl however there are no pet stores in OUR town is their response. So what do I need to do, I to go to the streets and I need to write a petition and take to the streets, I need to fill that board room with people, the only thing I need right now is what should I write on the petition, I hit the streets tomarrow at 6:00pm.

Thanks

matt

I live in WI too. My best advice is to move where they do allow snakes up to 6'.

Good luck what ever you decide.

Ignorance on the part of a township is common place, it is one reason I moved from Wichita, they don't allow boids of any size along with several lizards. Sad.
