My Black Snake is hiding

mikebell Sep 03, 2009 08:58 AM

Now, let me start by saying that in no way am I complaining. I started my Cinny and the Black Pastel projects at first because of the super forms, the black snake. It was different than anything else. I was waiting for this clutch, I knew what I could hatch, but was still surprised. The clutch was from a female Cinny bred to a male Pewter. I had to double check the clutch # to be sure it wasn't the Pewter X Pewter clutch. The whole clutch are males.

My adult Pewters and these babies are very nice, but not crazy like the Pewter that was posted earlier by someone else. There are more pictures at the link below.

My black snakes are hiding inside these silver snakes.

Mom and Dad w/Female Pewter. She isn't related to this clutch, but hers is due to hatch in a couple of weeks.

Congrats. I have a small, 2 egg pewter x pewter clutch due to hatch in about a week, and the suspense of what might be in them is killing me! I'm really hoping for a sliver streak or super cinny, but am preparing myself for 2 normal males... LOL

I can't keep up with all of the names. Isn't the silver streak a super pastel black pastel?
Good luck on the double super, whatever it is called.
Mike

maybe you're right... I can't keep all these cinny / black pastel combos straight.... maybe I meant a sterling (super pastel cinny)??

You`re right Mike, the Silver Streak is a Super Pastel Black Pastel. You`d produce it by a Black Pewter X Pastel or Super Pastel breeding.

If I was going to miss the Super Cinnamon that is the way I would want to miss.

Nice looking snakes.

I can't keep up with all of the names. I don't even remember seeing the super pastel super cinny, although I'm sure it is out there. What is the name for the super pastel super cinny and the same snake made with black pastel.
Thanks Mike

Double super Black Pastel (or Cinn) and Pastel is called the Super Pewter, as far as I know.
