Bill O'Reilly Opposes the Python

sisco Sep 03, 2009 09:42 AM

I cant beleave that Bill O'Reilly has jumped on the "Python ban" bandwagon....last night he had an unknown National Geographics "spokes person" saying all kinds of incorrect info about out how the python was eating up everything in the everglades....I thought he was fair and balanced...He seems terrified of any exotic animal and appears to support the ban of them all.... How disappointing....

IMO, everyone needs to flood this guy's e-mail box asking for some "balance" to this. Probably won't do any good, but there is strength in numbers.

That guy is a nut job. Anything sensational, divisive and/or titillating he jumps on to ride the wave. FOX News is like the National Enquirer of cable broadcasting.

I wish someone would go on his show. The right person could turn him around if he got the real story. I keep telling everyone we have to show the avarage person that the Reptile Ind.is a family hobby.

School, classrooms, Herp Socieity's, Expo's, Educational shows, The image should be of a family walking together around a big Expo delly cup and books in hand. Expo's raising money for Conservation. Buy a reptile for your kid and he will study everything ending in "ology" Maybe pay for Collage with a "Python collection" in a corner of the basement/spare room. I've seem people "inspired" by their first Reptile pet! Jacobson! A Carr. many others. The public has the WRONG PICTURE.It would be a fasanating story. O'Reilly as the most viewers we need to be on his show. aaa,i..i i'll be out of town or well you know,I'm nobuddy, lets draft the BARKERS! Vic...ive gone to far to stop.I wont, I cant. Ah, but O'Reily will tell you that he's in the "No Spin Zone", and that he's "fair and balanced".

Yeah, sure

Bill O'Really is an entertainer just like Rush Limpaugh is an entertainer. They make a good living spinning absurdities fit for the National Enquirer. That's what's wrong with America, we choose ignorance over enlightenment because it is the easy/lazy intellectual way. Sound bites, slogans, oaths of allegiance, ideological dogma, mindless nonsensical statements of emotion...

Umm....I'm sure you understood what you said, but I'm not sure anyone else did

I think the bottom line is that Bill's story was rather slanted against pythons, and that he didn't really care about the animals we like.

That's what you said, right???? No politics in what he said in the story, just ignorant sensationalism.
