08 Granite/Speckled Mex Mex

Jeremy Pierce Sep 03, 2009 10:19 PM

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share my newest addiction. I have bred Pituophis, Pantherophis, L. getula sp., and more for years but have never really gotten into the mexicana complex. Sure I had seen some thayeri in the past that got my attention, but last year it was the mex mex that caught my eye. I liked the "normal" and then I saw a couple of granites and was floored. Well this year at Daytona I picked up this yearling female from Mark & Kim Bell. While I was there it took everything in my being to resist buying some insane thayeri as well. Next year I think is the year of the mexicana for me.

Take care!

Jeremy

I bet if you breed that male to that speckled female you will get some intermediately speckled/granite offspring.....
Nice looking "classic" mex mex....
