Mystic Potion!!!!!

muddoc Sep 04, 2009 11:01 AM

After 10 eggs, we finally hit on the Mystic Potion. She is the only one that we will hatch this year, but that is OK. I am already in love with her. As much as I would have liked to have seen penes, I am thinking that this animal will be amazing at 2000 grams, so I will just have to make a male next year. I have not seen one of these in person, until today, and could only go by Anthony's pictures. I was surprised to see a bit of a yellow tint on the dorsal striping, but all in all, the colors are amazing. On to the pic. Enjoy.

Thanks for looking,

Hey your welcome Tim! What's the Mojave mother look like anyway, must be a big bruiser with a little age under her belt! Would like to see a pic of one that size!

Later,
Anthony McCain

She is actually a pretty standard looking Mojave, and she was 21 months old and about 1800 grams. Her mother laid a clutch from the Mystic as well (4 eggs) and 1 Mystic and three normals came from that clutch.

For being a silver looking snake, it IS very colorful. I love the look, and plan on breeding my Mystic male to my Sulfur Mojave this coming year. Please post a few more pics, that is one sweet snake!
