It's time to play NAME THAT LOCALE AGAIN

rpelaez Sep 04, 2009 08:03 PM

Here is a pic of an alterna. Can you guess the locality? Please identify the locale (which includes generic) and explain the specific attributes of the alterna that led to your conclusion. If no one guesses the correct answer, I'll list it along with the complete history of the snake on 9-7-09, a little after midnight-EST. Good luck and enjoy this brain teaser!

I am still learning the traits to identify localities. My guess by the speckling on the head and neck and the diamond patterns on the back I would say lajitas. I'm probably way off and the experts are probably laughing at me but it was worth a guess.

One of the experts also picked Lajitas, so you're in good company

Thanks Robert. That makes me feel better. Im honing my skills. Lol. I thought that may be to obvious an answer and that it may be a more obscure or less common locale.

Maybe...or maybe from one of those six 'separate' clutches eight years ago incubating in a single tray. Maybe that's where the breeder picked up this line...LOL! Stay tuned...less that five hours left before the answer is posted.
