OT - my new place

jscrick Sep 06, 2009 07:49 AM

Finally closed the deal on my new place in very far South Bexar County Texas. Why I have not been there all my life, I do not know.
It's a good fit with my Bohemian Third World lifestyle. Just shabby old Trailer Trash, but loving it. That place is simply amazing if you appreciate wildlife, herps, and horticulture as I do.
Very laid back and unpretentious. Roads to nowhere everywhere.
Google up a map for Elmendorf, TX 78112 for a look. They have Alligators, freshwater Redfish, Tilapia, Texas Cichlids, and huge Plecostomus Catfish in the local lakes. All they need now is Peacock Bass.
Check out your local Red-eared Slider.

Maybe I'll just turn the place into a B&B for Herpers. Already thinking of expanding. Need more land!!!

Welcome to South Texas. Been living in San Antonio for about 10 years now. It is not bad at all. Anyways, welcom.

I'm so incredibly jealous you get to live out in the country. City life is too crowded for me and suburban life is too dull. You are one lucky son of a [bleep].
Nice turtle though
