I've kept Indigos and Cribos before and as far as I'm concerned, the rich can keep 'em! Smelly, nasty critters that like to smear poop on the walls. Ugh. I'll stick to my Kings, thank you!

I sure do....I'm thinking of pairing them up next year too...They still have a couple months of growing to do before the little brumation I'm going to put them through.....

I get the impression many people look at a 30 inch King as not likely to breed the following season. For me.... 20 inch Kings may still make it up to size in time. I have seen borderline sized females come out of brumation and eat so much they seem to become a different snake in the course of 30 days.
If they usually dont breed for about 30 days after brumation, and then need another 30 or so days after that before they actually lay... well that gives [in your situation] the time between now and when you cool them, and then about 2 more months of feeding next year before they'd lay eggs.
In other words... odds are in your favor that they will be more than ready for you.
I have a nice group of small females I am stuffing at the moment to prepare them for next season.
