How long is the suggested quarantine?

I've read everything from 2 weeks to 6 months or more, so what procedure do you all use?

I use this rule of thumb:

if a snake comes in and visually look clear, meaning, NO external parasites, eats for me, and its poo is solid and looks clear, then i quarantine the animal for a 30 day period.

If the animal comes in and fails ANY one of the above, then it get a 90 day period as well as a vet visit.

Hi,

If I get in a snake and it is anything less than 100 percent healthy it is getting sent back to the seller. No question about it. If the snake looks 100 percent healthy it is getting a a 30 day quarantine to make sure none of the above stated shows up. I am looking for a healthy happy snake.

I recently got a few from a show, 2 of which came from breeders I've seen and spoken with before. They all look great, I just get a tad bit paranoid about IBD and the like.

I was thinking 30-90 days was a good bet, glad to know this is accurate.
