I use to have a freedom breeder rack and it was pretty decent besides sticking tubs. However i have seen the ARS racks at shows and talked to multiple people whom use them and they love em and from what i have seen of them i plan on getting some in the future. Boaphile cages and racks are my fav thus far on personal use and pretty sure ARS will be my next fav

I just want to let you know, we have the plastic tops and we have made many new changes over the years. We have listened to many people and we have fixed any slight flaws that where in the rack design years ago. If there is anything ever wrong with any rack we ship out or goes wrong in the future, we fix at no cost.

Thank you,
Jeff Johnson

For boas/pythons, FBs are great. The design, the choice of box size and style - all wonderful things.

For colubrids, I do not think there is any benefit to FBs over any other rack.

As long as you size the box to the snake, the often less expensive traditional closed rack is fine for colubrids and small boids like sandboas.

For example, I have a plastic rack I bought for baby rosyboas at the time. Only $120 and works just as well as any FB rack for those little buggers.

If I was housing blood pythons for example, well then FB is an effective way to go.

thanks for the info guys...i guess i just like the FB tubs that have a window in them. Sometimes I feel bad that the snakes in the tubs never get to see out. Not sure if the snakes care....
