BABY KING COBRA

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Sep 08, 2009 08:26 PM

I bought a number of the recent clutch of baby King Cobras and have been tube feeding them about twice a week and some are now starting to eat house gecko's on their own. Hopefully some will retain some banding...We'll see...

This little guy thinks he's tough....lol

Awesome! I have isolated my minimal collection to African elapids only, however, seeing baby Kings from time to time really makes me want to snag one up. -Jamie

I heard from someone with experience that the key to switching the young ones is scenting the water they drink, not the food they eat. I hope to try with a little one like that someday. They are definitely my Holy Grail species.
