You know before he got sick and passed away Lloyd Lemke bred the first t negative albno into is high red normal brooks stock . I belive he used het axanthics. he was outcrossing the axanthics die to fertility problems andyway and just used this new trait ( a male) which he borrowed from its original owner.

I am just suggesting here. I don't have any concrete fact. But that snow has red eyes. i have seen some come from his stock with dark eyes. I know i have two. I have 1.1 pearl snow adults from isis. They look like yours only with dark eyes.

Isis bought out Lemke stock after he passed away and now Isis produces most of the pearl snows. I just wonder if the T negative trait that looyd had introduced into his high red normals could have been in those snows. I wonder if anyone else noticed this besides me.

I have seen others come from Isis with red eyes. One person was Shannnon Broan. he picked up some Pearl snows and one has red (t negative type) eyes.

Anyway, I think you should breed it to a Peanut butter or jelly. that would prove out the T negative when you get Jellies and Peanut butters out of the clutch because they, as you now. are sharing a gene with the T negaive and you could prove out my theory.

While it would be cool to see that (Amelanistic in this stock) i highly doubt it... the snow was produced from a pair of 3x hets. I got them from Tim Ricks in `04 and thus far i've het to pop out anything T-.

Either way i sold that female so it's a no go... if i pop out that "Pearl" (Hypo-Snow) then yes i will breed it to a PB or Jelly to make quad hets.

Killer new morphs you hatched out btw!

Z-
While the look of the pearl Snows are the same, why do a few (I know of two now) have red eyes? I have the exact same pearl snows and they have dark eyes.

I know it does not add up because if they were true T neg snows they would not have that pigment and would look completly different. So the red eyes is something I can't explain. Red eyes usually means T- (no pigment). Ever seen a black mouse with red eyes???

Kinda confusing. But these new Florida morph gentics will surprise ya sometimes.
