Neat snakes bro... but is the Macro setting on your camera on? Just a guess...that it isn't... as I realized I accidentally turned mine off recently and my pics looks similar to yours. Decent pics but the head on the snake is often not as focused as the body. Check it out...
My faves here are the Hybrids, but they're all cool
