our lil panther is not so little anymore. he's growing and shedding so much it seems like there's a new guy everytime i look in -- he has also become quite the angry adolescent (so moody), lol

yeah, he looks like a teen with attitude! LOL

Funny you say that about shedding and a new guy each time. I have a tarantula and the forum I use we are currently having the conversation about how when our T molts we are left with nothing original but eyes and internal organs! ha-ha

What locale is he? and, how old is he? He looks just like Orion... she's about 6 months old. I bought her as an Ambanja male, but she didn't develop any colours... I think she's a girl. How can you tell if yours is a male? Maybe Orion is a boy.. and just doesn't have his colours yet? THanks.

Hi- they do grow fast when they are small, I can remember back how small my female Nosy Be was and now she is 3 times that size in a very short period of time. I say he may be a she because of the markings I see around it's eye's and head, also I don't see a hemipenis bulge in the picture on the tail close to the vent. Are you sure he is a he or could he be a she? If you have another picture you can post of it maybe we can make sure he is a he and not a she! LOL

Hope this helps!

simon is supposedly either a nosey be or a diego suarez. we are going to take another "more personal" photo of simon and post it -- perhaps charmparadise can help us determine si's gender. also, what did you mean about the markings around the eyes and head? should we be looking for something specific?

thanks much! pics to come soon!

Yes- I have a female Nosy Be with the same marking around and on the eye turret like in the photo you posted, and there are a reddish/terracotta color, males don't have this if they have markings they are bright red! Post another pic and we can look in to this some more!

here's a closeup of simon's behind -- i feel like a perv -- boy or girl? by the way, simon is approximately 4 months old. thanks again!

Hi- from the picture "HE" looks to be a she. SO you might want to think of a girl name for her LOL! Hope this helps!
