Hey Kevin where in New Mexico are your hogs from? I have a trio of WC from the from Carslbad New Mexico area. I will need to post some photos of mine to have some help keying them out. The females to me key out as kennerlyi but the male appears to be western. Mind you that I am going off scale counts. The whole Carlsbad area from what I have read/research and been told is an intregrade zone.

I didn't produce any babies these here cause I gave them the year off but last year I had like 30 hatchlings. They were really nice looking some had solid black ventrals, half the clutch look western and the other had kennerlyi patterning to it. Anyway I'll try and post them soon.

Joe Acosta

Mine are from Northern Eddy county, 30 or so miles north of Carlsbad. Carlsbad may well be an intergrade zone. Post pics or email then and I'll help you further. I'd like to see what you have.
