I'm about to buy two of these, and the seller says that they are Antaresia childreni and not Antaresia maculosa, what do you think?
How can you distingish them when they're babies?

They are very hard to tell apart without an accurate history. I think you can do it by looking at the differences in head scalation but I might be wrong. There are plenty of hybrids out there though. I would tend to believe the seller unless you have a reason not to.
Looks spotted to me. As babies they have better contrast than Childreni and their spots tend to be a lot darker
Hope that helps.
