LOOKING FOR REPTILES/AMPHIBIANS ENTHUSIASTS IN NEW YORK

fabrizionewyork Sep 16, 2003 06:20 PM

Hi,
My name is Fabrizio Li Vigni and I live in Nassau County, in Long Island, New York. I'm very young but also very fond of reptiles and amphibians. I'm Italian and I've been living here for only 3 months. I'm looking for reptiles/amphibians enthusiasts living near by me. This means that you can live both in Nassau County and New York City (or wherever else is near). The important is that we can get together sometimes. In Italy I used to have 3 friends with this passion and I always used to talk with them about herpetology. Now I don't do it anymore, and you know what it could mean for an enthusiast!

I wrote articles for Italian reviews and I'm still wotking with them. I go crazy for lizards, frogs, toads, salamanders and newts, even if sometimes I kept a few turtles and a few snakes. I'm very interested and experienced with European species. If you like them, and keep some of them, you can contact me immediately!!!

My e-mail is reptiles5a88@aol.com

You can be either young or adult. The important is that you like herpetology!

I'd also like someone with whom I could go hunting in the field, or go to some show (like New York Metro Reptile Expo), or simply go to a Pet Shop to buy the common mealworms for our animals.

Hope to receive answer soon from anyone,
Best regards,
Fabrizio.

Hey Fabrizio, welcome to NY, there's going to be a show this Saturday (October 4) at Farmingdale College Campus located on Route 110. It's sponsored by the Long Island Herp Society, so I'm sure you'll have the opportunity to meet some cool people.
