WOW WOW WOW!! That has to be one of the craziest looking creatures ever. That thing could lay in the middle of the week and see both sundays! LOL.

Hey Randy, did that double headed hondo survive? If so, post some pics.

Also, did you do anything different or did you notice anything different during incubation (like temperature fluctuations, medium, etc) that could have triggered that double headed mutation?

Thanks,

.

One of the heads cut through the egg but the other appeared dead and I put it down.
I incubate in a pretty consistant and stable way. I think it was just one of those fluke things.

Wow!,...yours is VERY similar to mine!

after the others were out, and this one still didn't pip yet, I cut a "window" for it. Then I saw normal breathing bubbles and all after that and thought...cool! it will come out soon. So after the second day I looked in and it was still in the exact same position, so I gently poked it a few times...and nothing, so I pulled it out to find it totally deformed and dead as a door-nail!

Pretty disappointing actually,...but as you know, this stuff happens occasionally. Looks like we are both in the "dicephalic club"..LOL!!
