Boa Rack/Bin Size ?

snakeeyes1618 Sep 13, 2009 04:34 PM

SO I have been trying to figure out the best size rack for my boas.....I would love to drop the cas for ap or boaphile cages but that is just not going to happen.

I saw on visions website that they have a "boa rack" the bin size is 40"x30". Just want to know some of your opinions on if the size is going to be enough for my animals.

Btw...I have 0.2 Colombia boas, 0.1 Dumerils, and 0.1 Hog

Thank,

I would wait till you had the cash for a boaphile rack its totally worth he time and money. I dont like visions because the dumb heat cable vs boaphile's use of flexwatt heater or look for a used rack in the classified section theres a few boaphiles sometimes

My goal was to take the bins and build my own rack with flexwatt....I dont liek the cable either....What boafile rack is big enough for a full grown Red Tail?

My real question was is a 40" x 30" bin enough size

I actually ordered 3 of the bins last year and built a rack with flexwatt heat. Overall I loved it, gotta say loved though as I took it down as the footprint was just too big for the time being in my herp room (built it out of 2x4's with melamine coated backer board for the shelves). I highly recommend the tubs for the size, keep in mind they are fairly angled in so the interior usable space is dramatically smaller then the 40x30 dimension, but with aspen it isn't as bad as it initially looks.
