yeah, chances are the normal was just lighter than usual. I noticed the nicer the female the better the lesser. thats just me. and ive only had 15 lesser clutches or so.

High quality or selectively breed lessers do seem to resemble butters somewhat.. Seems like lessers are more brown while butter are more yellow..
Regardless nice snakes..
I'll stick to my bread and butter nothing less..er

I have lessers and my friend has butters. Butters are dull and less I popping than Lessers by far. If you don't agree, start a new thread and I'll post some of my Lessers. Nothing against Butters, I just think Lessers blow them away.

You must be looking at high quality lesser and low quality butters.. They do range in quality a lot like pastels...

serpentmorphs Sep 15, 2009 07:14 PM

In my experience with only 20 lessers and hundreds of butters I noticed that butters have dark grey flames on the sides while lessers seem to have white or off white flames. butters are darker than lessers. now when you combine a butter with a pastel they are amazing and are exactly the same as a pastel lesser. spider butter and lessers are the same. just seems like the plain ones are where the difference is.

I do see a difference in a hypo lesser and hypo butter as well as a difference in the kingpin vs butterpin. I am not going to argue that they are or are not the same, but I will give you that they are to similar for MHO to judge them as different or the same. I think its six to one and half dozen to the other.
