could someone give me some advice on how to breed AFT i have a male and female which are living together, I heard something about a cooling period were you dont feed them for 2 to 3 weeks is this true? Do you have to do this?

AFT's are a tad trickier to breed than leopards. I cool mine in the winter BUT they still keep eating. I just allow the night time drops to go a little lower. This naturally slows down how much they eat but they still keep eating. It also helps to separate the male out for awhile, then reintroduce them. If you have further questions feel free to e-mail me.

I dont follow any cooling period. Mine just do it when they are ready. I had one female lay 10 clutches her first season while others had 4 to 6. I advise you to just put them together. SOoner or later he'll get the groove
