I picked up 2 cages this weekend. Once I get them cleaned up a bit they are going to house kingsnakes. They measure 24" x 17" 24". There is a false floor that has a cut-out to drop into a 28 quart sterilite tub below. Each cage has a 10" x 11" strip of flexwatt secured to the floor under the sterilite tub.
I've only used heat lights in the past, so flexwatt is new to me, but I'd like to use it. Will this one strip provide enough heat? Should I add a strip of flexwatt or an RHP to the upper section?
