Very cool looking snakes. Must be cool to see all that variety when they hatch. I am having a hard time keeping up with all the names though.

Thanks for the complimets!

Yeah I am having a hard time with keeping up with the names to. I wish there was some unified page for morph names that all aspects of herpetoculture had to follow.

Like every Ball Python , Cal king , ratsnake, boa guy ect.. uses the cornsnake genetics as the canon.

But it never is going to happen.

If you have any suggestions to keep it simpler I would appreciate any suggestions.

Oh the Peabino and Phantom name have been out there for Florida kings for two years now. This lastvtwo years i try to just call them for what they are or use coensnake gentics.

But a name for a Peanut Butter x hypomelanitic homo will have to be a Hypo Peanut butter. The amel T negative albino X Hypo (true hybino) will be a sunglow because the hybino name is already taken. Then there is the weird triple homo Blizzard i produced and this other triple homo which is a Peanut butter / lavender / Anery all in one. W

What do i call that?

Hmmmm. I like that. Thanks!

Let me get some updated pics of the clucth first. During daylight and then let me know if it still does resemble the Cinder. I also had a normal snow sibling hatch ou. So that's good for camparison... My Sony camera sucks for colors while on macro.

Looks like a box of crayons, with all the different colors. Do you have time for a day job? Or are snakes your job?

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing.

How do you keep all those morphs and multimorphs straight with all the variability?? Amazing job there Rainer! I made the post to see who is either lucky enough to FIND something new, but you are putting the time into MAKING something new. I hope some of us are taking the time to make hets(outcrossed)and double hets so that we will continue to have stuff to talk about for years. Or is everyone still making hypo Hondos?? LMAO!

How do you keep all those morphs and multimorphs straight with all the variability??

The only hard part is keeping the different triple hets seprated and labled properly.

the easy stuff are the fuits and visual morphs. ..
Which in trun will be bred back to their mothers.

This is why i love hets!

Congrats on the morphs...

Now hate to be a "stick in the mudd," but how do you know that animal is a 3x HomoZ and not just a snow??

Also:
You called the "blizzard" looking animal a 3x HomoZ as well... what makes you think it is a 3x HomoZ rather than an Axanthic-Amel 2x HomoZ??

Bluerosy Sep 16, 2009 10:40 PM

but how do you know that animal is a 3x HomoZ and not just a snow??

Good question.
There is a regular snow in the clutch. The camera really does not pick up the color of this triple homo. It GLOWS!

Here is a pic of the triple next to its sibling lavender snow. .

I also got a regular lavender in the clucth as well. So there is a regular lavender, a Lavender snow and a Triple. it can't be anything else. Plus it really looks cool in person.

Whole clutch pic:.... Mannnn,... this is why i love hets!

Also:
You called the "blizzard" looking animal a 3x HomoZ as well... what makes you think it is a 3x HomoZ rather than an Axanthic-Amel 2x HomoZ??

Same reason. Because i produced a true snow in 2008. No wait. that was a Anery snow (T neg x Anery). Sold her so no pics. But yes what you say is possible. Just not what i pictured in my mind. I would still expect a pattern. just like in the T-neg X Anery snow.

But interesting story there. The guy that bought the Anery snow ( Anery x T-negative) from me purchased 1.1 Phantoms (Peanut Butter x Anery) from me the previous year '07. Then the next year he bought the T neg snow. Smart guy. It had occured to me after the sale that breeding a T neg snow to a Phantom would produce instant new morphs by producing Jellies x anery . Oh well, the whole Peanut Butter //T-negative albino//Jelly thing is even hard for me to wrap my head around sometimes.
