I posted a message a little further down about how i feel as if my aft is too slow to catch the crickets. It seems to me that they just run right by him. I had pulled four of the six legs off of some crickets.... they could move around, but not get outta the dish..... i put them in a dish with meal worms and he ate them right up. it was either the dish or herding the crix into a corner for him to gobble em up. So, my newest thing regarding this is that i went to a local reptile center, and the guy there said he finds it hard to believe that he cant catch them and that im just making it too easy for him. that he is being lazy. I put about twelve crickets in there the other night, and it seems to me that he had only eaten about three or four by the time the next day had rolled around, where when i help him he eats about seven. (he is a 7 month old, healthy, gecko.)
any advice??
am i really just making it too easy? hes being lazy? or just truly slow????
thanks
