stacking vision cages...

Bergmantis Sep 17, 2009 12:07 AM

On the model V400 vision cage, (the smaller 4ft model), it lacks interlocking groves for stacking. The bottom of the cage is completely flat. There is also no center vertical support behind the glass doors. These are all in comparison to the larger 4ft model, V422.

Now, my question is, is it alright to stack the V400 under these circumstances or do they slide against each other easily without the interlocking grooves? Is the weight of stacking an issue for these without the center support?

Thanks,

Mat

People who stack any cage on a surface that is not level will have problems. Just make sure they are on a level surface and you will be fine. I love all the Vision cages. Great ventalation, easy to clean, great view of you snakes, and they will last longer than you will be around.

Take care,

Kevin

After trying many cage brands I keep coming back to Vision. They stack well for me including the Model 400. I do not like swing down doors. The sliding plate glass doors on the Vision cages give me a lot more control when feeding large constrictors . Bill

Kevin Said it best....keep them level and no problems, the flat bottom visions were not around when I invested in my vision cages, I would rather have the flat bottom as the grooved one are a pain to clean and they cause heating voids when using belly heat....other than that I love mine.
