pic request-mojave crosses

adamjeffery Sep 17, 2009 04:26 PM

i was wondering if all of you with mojave crosses could post some pics of them.
i tried doing a search but only came up with hypo mojave's, and pastave's.
i would like pics of black pastel mojave's, spider mojave's, and any other crosses you have or know a link too.
thanks again

But I have a soft spot for mojos so if anyone has some pics post away!

Mojaves are making a come back I think , until recently everyone wanted Lessers instead but I think that thinking is starting to change now.

Here's a couple pics for you, first pic is of the Mystic Potions (Mystic Mojave cross in the Super form). The second pic is of a pair of Crystals (Mojave "Specials" also in the Super form).

What are mojave specials? The mystic potion has always confused me.

anthony james mc Sep 17, 2009 06:39 PM

I said that to better explain what they really are, a Crystal Ball is a Mojave and a Special in the Super form . A "Special" is the other subtle gene that's on the same allele as the Mojave and the other Lesser complex members which is why the Crystal is still considered a type of Blue Eyed Leucistic.

A Mystic Potion is simply a Mystic and a Mojave "Super" , the Mystic is a new type of Phantom bloodline and the Mystic and or Phantom gene is also on the same allele as the Mojave (again as well as the other lesser complex members all are alleles of each other) that's how it makes a "Super" form BEL.

Really this is not complicated, the Special and the Mystic genes both line up with the Mojave and they combine to make a "Super" just so happens that these Supers aren't "just another white snake" ..

To make it a little more clear what he's calling a super is like calling a bumble bee a super form of a Spider x Pastel. At least with the cross of a Mojave and a "Special" to get the Crystal.

I vaguely remember a super vanilla mojave posted on KS... couldn't remember who produced it. Hope this helps.

I'll try to mail you a few more photos this weekend. The new wee girl is very similar in color to the 250 gram colorful girl to her right when she was a hatchling. The male on the left has always been a shade darker -- but has followed the same color/brightening progression.
